Yard Coordinator - Industrial Equipment Auctions
Pinkenba or Yatala, QLD | Permanent Role | $36-$38/hr + Overtime

As part of their continued growth, we're seeking a Yard Coordinator to support the smooth operation of yard facilities and contribute to the success of upcoming auction events.
About the Role
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a keen interest in machinery and logistics. You'll be responsible for coordinating the movement of vehicles and equipment within the yard, ensuring everything is ready for auction and presented to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct vehicle check-ins, appraisals, and photography in line with company standards.
* Operate forklifts and loaders to manage asset movement safely and efficiently.
* Perform detailing and decal removal to prepare assets for sale.
* Recover and manage keys, plates, and documentation.
* Resolve asset discrepancies and verify paperwork.
* Coordinate with transport providers to ensure timely delivery and removal of assets.
* Assist clients, assessors, and transporters with on-site queries.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and report performance updates to management.
What We're Looking For
* Experience: Ideally 2+ years in a similar operational role (automotive, logistics, auction or salvage industries preferred).
* Licences: Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain); current driver's licence essential.
* Mechanical Aptitude: Interest in machinery or automotive repairs is highly regarded.
* Problem Solver: Able to manage logistical challenges and uphold safety standards.
* Customer-Focused: Confident interacting with clients, suppliers, and team members.
* Physically Fit: Comfortable working outdoors and performing manual tasks in all weather conditions.
