Community Mental Health Services provide a range of services designed to help support the recovery and help consumers stay well in the community.
About the Role
The team provides specialist services for young people, children and families, adults, and older people. Community mental health services include a specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Team, bilingual mental health workers and Peer Support Workers. Our main sites are at Canterbury, Croydon, Camperdown, Marrickville, and Redfern Community Health Services.
The role will be based at Croydon Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical psychology services to patients/clients and carers in order to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes.
* Provide quality consumer-focused, evidence-based psychological services to patients/clients and carers.
Requirements
* Current registration with AHPRA and must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA.
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skill and clinical experience in the provision of clinical psychology interventions.
* Demonstrated skills in working with families.
