About the role
Hydro Excavation Services is seeking experienced and skilled Pipe Layers/Toolman. This full-time role is integral to the successful delivery of our construction projects, utilising a range of plant and machinery to safely and efficiently excavate, lay pipes, and support our wider operations.
What you'll be doing
* Operating a range of heavy machinery including vac trucks, excavators, and other equipment to assist with the excavation and pipe laying process
* Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues
* General Construction White Card certification is required
* Providing support to the wider construction team, assisting with tasks as required
* Maintaining equipment and machinery to the highest standards, proactively identifying and reporting any issues
* Working collaboratively with the team to deliver projects on time and to the expected level of quality
What we're looking for
* Excellent knowledge of construction methods, processes, and safety requirements
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to upholding high safety standards and a strong safety-first mindset
* Relevant licences and qualifications, including a valid MR/HC driver's licence and any necessary certifications.
* Working with Adelaide's Water and Sewer infrastructure.
* Minimum 1-2 years of pipe laying experience is required
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required
