Pacific Optics Pty Ltd is an award-winning wholesale distributor of eyewear, accessories, technology, and general merchandise across the petrol & convenience channel in Australia and New Zealand.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Store-person to support our day-to-day warehouse operations. This role plays an important part in ensuring stock is received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy. You will work as part of a team to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.
The Role
* Replenish pick bins to ensure efficient order fulfillment
* Receive incoming stock and process purchase orders into the warehouse system
* Maintain high standards of stock accuracy and inventory management
* Load and unload trucks and shipping containers safely and efficiently
* Assist with stock-takes and general inventory control activities
* Conduct regular cycle counts to support accurate stock levels
* Support the pick and pack team during busy periods
* Use RF scanning and warehouse management systems (experience desirable but not essential)
The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
* A current forklift licence (required), with high reach experience highly regarded
* A manual driver’s licence and ability to drive company vehicles (desirable)
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team
* Reliability and strong punctuality, with consistent attendance
* A strong work ethic and pride in delivering high-quality work
