Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Hospital are looking for a Team Manager to join our Wonthaggi Community Mental Health Service on a full time, fixed term basis.
The Team Manager – Wonthaggi Community Mental Health Service, in conjunction with the Team Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Leads (0-25 and 26+) and General Manager - Community Mental Health (Western Region), will co-ordinate the provision of high-quality clinical leadership, monitoring and evaluation of clinical Mental Health services to consumers. The Team Manager – Wonthaggi Community Mental Health shall provide leadership, monitoring and evaluation of clinical mental health services to consumers and carers. The position has responsibility for the operational management of all the Community Mental Health Programs 0-25 and 26+ which includes the Acute Community Intensive Support team (ACIS), Recovery Team, Mental Health and Police Response (MHAPR) and administration staff.

We are looking for candidates with:
8. Nursing: Division 1 Registered Nurse with post basic qualification in mental health nursing holding a current Registration Certificate with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) OR
9. Social Work : Approved degree in social work or other qualification approved for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers OR
10. Psychology: Registration with AHPRA OR
11. Occupational Therapy: Registration with AHPRA.
12. Competency in utilising computer technology
13. Demonstrated experience in senior leadership and management roles.
14. Demonstrated experience in working in mental health service system.
15. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
