About The Role
We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Inside Account Manager in New South Wales (12-month maternity cover) to help grow our presence across the automotive category at Gumtree Group. This is a revenue-generating sales role focused on building strong client partnerships, uncovering new opportunities, and driving sustainable growth.
You'll manage and develop an established portfolio of dealer clients, working closely with them to maximise the value they get from our platform. Through proactive sales activity, strategic upselling and cross-selling, you'll identify ways to expand their success while growing market share and revenue.
What You'll Do
* Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through proactive sales activity and strong pipeline management
* Grow revenue within an existing portfolio by identifying upsell, cross-sell and new opportunity areas
* Prospect and re‐engage lapsed or underperforming dealer accounts to unlock new revenue
* Build strong client relationships through regular sales calls, account reviews and consultative support
* Promote Gumtree Group products, features and value‐add solutions that drive customer success
* Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings and the automotive advertising landscape
* Keep CRM records, pipeline activity and forecasting accurate and up to date
* Share customer insights and collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to support revenue‐driving initiatives
What You'll Bring
* 3-5 years' experience in digital, media or advertising sales
* Automotive or classifieds industry experience is highly advantageous
* Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close revenue‐generating opportunities
* Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Expertise in nurturing long‐term business relationships with the ability to engage business owners and senior decision‐makers
* Confident communication and presentation skills with a consultative sales approach
* Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and interpreting sales performance data, along with Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace tools
* High level of self‐motivation with the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, target‐driven environment
