Overview
Susquehanna is looking for Software Engineer to join our Market Data and Signals team. In this role you will develop and enhance low latency and high frequency market data exchange connectivity applications by designing, implementing, and delivering complex software systems that meet the business needs. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated track record of delivering complex applications that meet demanding performance and scalability goals in a trading environment.
What You'll Do
1. Develop and enhance low latency market data exchange connectivity applications.
2. Design, implement, and deliver complex software systems to meet business needs.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance systems to support trading regionally and globally.
4. Contribute to performance optimization and latency reduction methodologies.
What We're Looking For
5. A bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
6. A minimum of five (5) years' experience designing and developing applications using object-oriented programming in C++ on Linux, with proficiency in Python.
7. Expert level C++/Linux development experience including design, profiling, performance tuning, OO, generic programming, STL, Boost, sockets, multi-threading, and IPC.
8. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a thorough understanding of full life-cycle development and performance optimization/latency reduction methodologies.
9. Knowledge of financial products, exchange connectivity, and market data is a plus.
