Automation Analyst
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Automation Analyst to join our Digital - Legal Service Operations team in our Melbourne office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Build, support and upskill on our current and future toolsets for document automation and matter workflow systems.
* Be an advocate and technical lead for our document automation and matter workflow systems.
* Have a growth mindset, challenge legacy views and be open to learning new skills and systems.
* Engage with stakeholders to create and continuously improve processes, prioritising client requirements and business value delivery.
* Critically assess and reverse engineer business processes to reduce friction, improve efficiency and deliver exceptional quality aligned to our client's expectations.
* Document and publish solutions to improve transparency and support a well-documented technical environment.
* Maintain precedents and templates relating to document automation.
* Create and maintain automation related SSRS and PowerBI reporting.
* Train and assist users in further developing their knowledge of document automation and matter workflow systems and processes.
* Liaise with vendors for provision of external support as needed.
* Maintain strong information security awareness and follows firm protocols to reduce risk. Stay informed about potential threats, apply best practices, and takes proactive steps to protect the firm's systems, data and client information.
Skills/Knowledge
* Experience in task based automation / workflow systems.
* Experience with document assembly / automation platforms.
* Caseflow Development skills (desirable).
* Understanding of the different areas of law (highly desirable).
* Strong comprehension, critical thinking and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good organisational and administrative ability.
* Excellent literacy and presentation skills.
* SQL, SSRS and PowerBI reporting experience desirable.
Experience
* Minimum 3 years' law or professional services firm experience
