Join us as a Customer Experience Officer in the Customer Experience & Engagement Branch, and develop your skills and future career.

Find purpose and impact by joining our award winning team as a Customer Experience Officer and be the first point of contact for our community. In this part-time, Monday – Friday, 12pm-5pm 25-hour role, you'll provide exceptional service through phone, email, webchat, and face-to-face interactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Being the vital link between our organisation and our valued customers, ensuring effective communication and support
- Executing customer service tasks in alignment with established procedures to optimise the operation of the Customer Experience Centre
- Staying current with Council's services, products, and activities to provide accurate and valuable information to customers
- Demonstrating an understanding and grasp of Council's policies, procedures, and codes to maintain compliance and uphold high standards
- Proactively identifying and addressing customer dissatisfaction, promptly escalating issues using established customer experience protocols
- Cultivating strong customer relationships through engaging with customers through multiple communication channels.

Requirements

- Certificate III in Office/Business Administration or a relevant discipline or above
- Relevant experience in customer service delivery in a high volume environment
- Well-developed communication skills, computer literacy and ability to complete accurate data entry
- High level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks with competing deadlines
- High level of flexibility, adaptability and versatility to handle multiple diverse tasks across Omni-channels
