At Rocky Bay, we're looking for compassionate and committed Night Duty Support Workers to join our respite team in Rockingham on a permanent part time basis.Help empower individuals living with a disability to achieve their goals, lead more independent lives and be the best version of themselves.
About the role:
* Salary: $ $36.55 per hour + Generous Salary Packaging + Night Duty Penalties
* Permanent Part Time rosters:
* Night duty availability required between 6pm-10am (varied)
* x2 roster lines available = 66.5 hours per fortnight for each position
* Locations: Rockingham
As a Night Duty Respite Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to empower individuals with disabilities and their families by providing exceptional support and care. Your role will be multifaceted, ranging from assisting with daily living activities to promoting independence and providing a safe space for our customers to enjoy their respite stay.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personalised support and assistance with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and household tasks (including cleaning and maintaining household hygiene)
* Foster independence by encouraging and supporting customers in developing life skills, decision-making abilities and achieving personal goals
* Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring open communication with families and other support team members
* Promote a safe and respectful environment for customers adhering to Rocky Bay's policies and procedures
