Role Overview
As a Credit Analyst (CA) you are responsible for the receipt, review, processing, analysis and submission of commercial and residential property loan applications.
The CA helps to maintain Thinktank's credit standards and service quality by ensuring all applications submitted to Credit are soundly and efficiently verified within service level agreements (SLA) and drive customer focused outcomes and also supports relationships with Brokers and Relationship Managers (RMs).
Accountabilities
* Conduct full assessment of completed loan application (complete affordability assessment; confirm within credit policy; conduct credit checks; security assessment; research borrower background and business purpose)
* You will be the go to contact for all brokers for deals through commercial channel
* Build positive relationships with brokers and borrowers by attending to phone and email queries in a timely manner.
* Conduct an initial credit assessment and approval within a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA)
* Assist with the settlement process
About you
* Proven credit experience in commercial/business and or complex mortgage lending specifically dealing with self employed applications
* Ability to extract relevant information from a loan application to write up a credit submission/recommend for approval
* An understanding of financials/Tax returns and balance sheets in commercial lending would be desirable

* Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships
* Desire to provide high level of support whilst being keen to learn and develop your skills
* Confidence in dealing with professional and industry groups
* A proactive approach and strong team ethic
