You will be primarily responsible for explaining and presenting the company's fundamental and quantitative equity strategies to clients.
The CPM is actively involved during every stage of the commercial process, including the retention phase, for both institutional and distribution clients.
As a Client Portfolio Manager Equities, your responsibility is to provide detailed information and share your expertise on the company's Equity strategies.
Together with Sales you are responsible for presentations to existing and potential clients or distribution partners.
You are also expected to speak at conferences on the company's Equity research and product range.
You use your experience and outstanding specialist knowledge to become a trusted partner on Equity strategies.
You are responsible for keeping your own knowledge of the company's Equity strategies and investment processes up to date, and close cooperation with the Research and Portfolio Management teams is essential.
The position will be based in our Sydney office.
You will be working with other CPMs in the quant and fundamental equity teams in Hong Kong and Rotterdam.
Traveling is an important element of this position.
You will be reporting to the local Australian business head and the global head of Fundamental Equity.
You hold a degree from a renowned university and possess at least five years of working experience as a portfolio manager or research analyst.
Extensive experience in the investment industry and working with quantitative investment solutions are required.
It is essential to have a strong commercial drive and the ability to present your specialist knowledge in a convincing way, as an authority in your area of expertise and to different client types.
Experience in marketing and to clients is also important.
It goes without saying that you have an excellent command of verbal and written English.
Holding a CFA would be viewed positively.
