Support Care Assistant
We are seeking Support Care Assistants to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
About the Role
This role involves providing support services to clients in their own homes, including assistance with daily living activities, domestic assistance, social support, and personal care. You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including aged and high needs clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend to clients in their own homes
* Empathy & patience for elderly clients
* Willingness to attend to domestic assistance duties
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (highly desirable)
* Current and valid Driver's Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle, smart mobile phone, current & valid First Aid and CPR certificate
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
* Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
