We are partnering with a highly established, nationally recognised industrial manufacturing organisation operating a multi-site production footprint across Australia. The business services blue‐chip customers across food, health and consumer markets and operates within a complex, high‐volume manufacturing environment. With revenue north of $1 billion, this role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, operational accountability and commercial discipline across four manufacturing sites.
Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager – Finance, with a dotted line into the operational General Manager, this is a senior finance leadership role embedded within manufacturing operations. You will spend approximately 50% of your time on site across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, partnering with plant leaders and senior stakeholders to drive profitability, cost control and performance improvement.
Key Areas of Focus
* Partnering operations on labour recovery, asset utilisation, cost of goods and margin optimisation
* Supporting pricing strategy, commercial negotiations and capital investment decisions
* Delivering robust budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across multiple sites
* Identifying financial risks and opportunities and influencing corrective action
* Acting as the bridge between operational leadership and Group Finance
Candidate
* You are CA / CPA qualified with proven experience in heavy manufacturing environments.
* You have previously supported multiple sites and are comfortable operating within a national footprint.
* You thrive in operational settings, enjoy being on the floor and can confidently challenge and influence senior leaders.
* Strong commercial acumen, resilience and the ability to translate financial data into practical operational insight are essential.
