About the Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead operations within the Up&Go; Department on day shift, ensuring effective production, team capability, and a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands‐on leadership role that focuses on motivating and developing a high‐performing team while driving operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide proactive and team-oriented leadership to the day shift team
* Foster connection with team members through robust communication
* Lead safety initiatives and manage incidents and hazards
* Deliver ongoing feedback and performance management
* Ensure adherence to line operation processes and standards
* Comply with food safety and quality standards
* Analyse reports and develop strategies for continuous improvement
* Troubleshoot operational issues and elevate as required
* Manage daily workflows and staffing requirements
* Identify and develop future talent within the team
* Coordinate team training and development plans
* Support recruitment as needed
* Facilitate regular team meetings

* Proven experience leading large frontline teams (20+ members)
* Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
* A constructive, people‐focused leadership style
* Demonstrated coaching and team development skills
* A passion for team engagement, growth, and recognition
* Leadership qualifications (advantageous)
* Manufacturing leadership experience (advantageous)
* Moderate digital literacy, with experience of Microsoft Office programs
