Role Overview
As a DTS/Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, you will support surgeons in Broken Hill as they perform complex Hip and Knee replacements. This is a casual opportunity with approximately 10–12 hours per week, mostly on Wednesdays, with occasional Mondays and Tuesdays. The role is ideal for an Allied health or Nursing Professional looking for flexibility and exposure to the MedTech field.
Responsibilities
* Assist in instrument and robotic‐assisted surgical procedures, ensuring effective use of Zimmer Biomet products.
* Manage surgical equipment requirements for each case, promoting utilisation of ROSA and mymobility.
* Utilise mymobility to enhance patient‐surgeon communication and care decisions.
* Keep up to date with new surgical techniques and provide in‐service training around Zimmer Biomet technologies and implant portfolio.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Nursing, Paramedicine, or Sports/Exercise Science.
* Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
* A passion for health, the human body and advancing technologies to improve patient lives.
* Curiosity and innovative mindset, strong desire to explore new ideas.
* Technological proficiency, natural ability to handle and understand advanced medical technology.
