Your New Role
As an L3/Project Engineer, you will join a dedicated Implementations team delivering end‑to‑end technical projects for a diverse MSP client base.
Working closely with the Service Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of multiple concurrent projects - from handover through to delivery and successful transition into BAU support.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver end‑to‑end IT projects using core technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Private Cloud, Sophos, Cisco, and modern voice solutions
Execute technical components of migration, deployment, and infrastructure projects
Build and manage project plans, timelines, documentation, and resource requirements
Ensure smooth and accurate handover into BAU support teams
Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues
Contribute to quality project delivery and continuous improvement
Maintain high‑quality documentation within tools such as IT Glue
Mentor junior engineers and support professional development across the team
Maintain and expand vendor certifications
What You'll Need to Succeed
Around five years of experience delivering technical projects within a managed services environment
Proven ability to manage several complex projects at once
Strong background across:
Microsoft 365 and Azure deployments
Identity and endpoint management (Intune, Conditional Access)
Windows Server builds, upgrades and general server administration
Hybrid, private and public cloud platforms
Solid understanding of networking principles such as LAN/WAN, VLANs, Wi‑Fi, DNS and DHCP
Familiarity with modern security tooling including NGFWs, AV or XDR solutions
Confident producing documentation and communicating clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Comfortable explaining complex concepts in simple terms
NSW driver's licence and reliable transport
Additional strengths that would be highly regarded include:
Experience delivering work through HaloPSA
Microsoft certifications across M365 or Azure
Project management training or formal qualifications
Exposure to VoIP or unified communications technologies
