Marketing Director – Hatch

The Marketing Director will own the brand and entire marketing funnel, driving employer acquisition and candidate sign‐ups through a range of B2B and B2C tactics.
Responsibilities
* Lead brand strategy across all touchpoints, ensuring consistent positioning and voice.
* Own go‐to‐market for major product launches, building the employer acquisition motion that fills the founding employer cohort and driving awareness through PR, content, events and partnerships.
* Build and run the B2B demand‐gen engine targeting HR leaders, CPOs, and CEOs at Australia's top companies, creating content, campaigns and sales enablement assets to support enterprise sales and mid‐market acquisition.
* Drive candidate growth and engagement on the platform, positioning Hatch as the go‐to destination for university students seeking career development while studying.
* As the program scales, hire and lead a marketing team.
Qualifications – Experience
* 6–10 years in marketing, with 2–3 years in a leadership role.
* Own a major product or program launch end‐to‐end.
* Experienced in building and running B2B demand generation (content, email, events, LinkedIn) with demonstrable results.
* Strong brand‐building track record.
* Bonus: experience on a two‐sided marketplace, platform or community product.
* Strong bonus: early marketing hire at a Series A or B company and scaled up a function.

* Strong writer able to craft positioning, copy and content personally.
* Commercially minded with understanding of pipeline, conversion and revenue.
* Comfortable with both brand conversations and campaign performance reviews.
* Can build and execute with limited team or budget.
