Night Porter

16 Hours (Friday & Saturday Nights, 23:00–07:00)
We are looking for a Night Porter to join the team at the Royal l Hotel. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a varied and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service during the night shift, ensuring the smooth running of hotel operations, and maintaining high standards of service and safety for all guests. You will also be involved with general portering duties setting function spaces for the following days business.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Maintain the safety and security of the hotel and its guests.
* Set up function rooms for events and prepare breakfasts for residents.
* Ensure public areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
* Provide bar service to residents with a friendly and professional approach.
* Carry out light food preparation, including packed lunches and night service sandwiches.
* Assist in the pub as needed to support smooth operations.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within the hotel or hospitality industry.
* Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems.
* A professional and friendly demeanour, with a strong work ethic.
* Must be over 18 years old.
