McMahon Services is seeking a Site Engineer to join our team delivering the Rum Jungle Rehabilitation Project in the Northern Territory.This nationally significant environmental remediation project will halt acid mine drainage, isolate radiological hazards and restore the site for long-term sustainability and return to its Traditional Owners.This is a full-time, site-based opportunity for an engineer with 1-5 years’ experience who wants to apply their technical skills in a complex, high-impact project environment.About McMahon ServicesMcMahon Services is one of Australia’s largest privately owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations. We deliver complex remediation and infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand, supported by strong systems, experienced teams and a safety-first culture.The Rum Jungle Rehabilitation Project represents one of Australia’s most significant environmental restoration initiatives.About the RoleReporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will support on-site delivery of water treatment and groundwater remediation systems.You will work closely with construction and commissioning teams to ensure pumps, pipelines and treatment systems are installed, tested and optimised to meet environmental performance requirements.This is a practical, hands-on engineering role working directly within a live project environment.What You’ll DoProvide on-site engineering support across water treatment systemsAssist with installation and commissioning of pumps and pipeline networksPrepare RFIs and liaise with consultants and designersSupport procurement, scheduling and cost tracking activitiesMonitor technical compliance and quality requirementsImplement safe systems of work in line with Safety Certainty 2.0 principles
What You’ll BringEngineering degree (Chemical Engineering preferred)1-5 years’ experience in water, process or civil infrastructure projectsExposure to pumps, pipelines or treatment systemsStrong technical problem-solving capabilityAbility to work in remote or regional project environmentsConstruction White Card and current driver’s licenceAbility to obtain required site and security clearances
