A career as a Case Manager in Community Corrections offers a unique opportunity to support positive change and enhance community safety. We're currently seeking dedicated Case Managers to join our Mount Isa team. In this role, you'll supervise individuals on community-based orders or parole, helping them make meaningful progress while contributing to a safer Queensland. Responsibilities
* Prioritise community safety when interviewing individuals, assessing and responding effectively to risk
* Manage multiple and complex demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, while navigating policy and procedural frameworks to implement daily offender management policies
* Support productive working relationships with internal teams, external service providers, and community stakeholders
* Act with integrity and display personal drive
* Communicate with influence, adapting your approach to engage effectively with diverse audiences
* Respect and embrace diversity, fostering an inclusive environment
Qualifications & Eligibility
* Hold a current driver's licence
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Criminology, Law, Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Education, Health, Business, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies
* Final year students are encouraged to apply for temporary vacancies to be assessed for a talent pool for future permanent appointment once full completion and receipt of formal degree is provided from a recognised tertiary institution
