About the Role This is a part-time permanent role (2–3 days per week) based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, with one day working from home. The role involves managing end-to-end payroll for both weekly and monthly cycles, ensuring accurate and timely payments including leave and superannuation, interpreting EBAs and modern awards, and resolving payroll queries. You will maintain employee records and timesheets, liaise with HR, finance, and operations, support month- and year-end reporting, assist with audits, and contribute to ongoing improvements in payroll processes. The role also provides ad hoc support to the wider finance team as required. About You You will have 2–3 years’ payroll experience, ideally within the manufacturing sector, and be proficient with Employment Hero payroll software. A solid understanding of modern awards, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of accuracy are essential. You are proactive, analytical, and able to solve problems independently, while also communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders. You can manage competing deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, are a true team player, and have intermediate skills in Word and Excel.
