Job Title:
School Crossing Supervisor is a vital position that ensures student safety at designated school crossings. As a Road Safety Hero, the individual will maintain situational awareness, engage with families, and provide excellent communication skills to mitigate potential hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise school crossings during designated hours, including 30 hours per fortnight.
* Provide an hourly rate with superannuation during school holidays (Terms 1-3).
* Display strong communication and alertness skills to identify and mitigate potential dangers.
* Engage positively with families and maintain a dependable presence, regardless of weather conditions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to community safety.
* Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment (or willingness to obtain them).
Benefits:
Hourly rate plus superannuation; supervision during holidays from Terms 1-3.
