Human Resource Officer
* Temporary | Full-time | Townsville | 4-month contract
* Deliver end-to-end recruitment support including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking and onboarding
* Provide high-level advice and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practice and compliance
* Champion positive safety behaviours and ensure adherence to relevant policies and legislation
* Build strong working relationships across teams to deliver responsive and customer-focused HR services
* Identify and recommend improvements to recruitment processes and systems
This role provides exposure within a structured and values-driven organisation and the opportunity to strengthen your HR capability in a collaborative environment.
Recruitment Officer
* Temporary | Full-time | Townsville
* Manage recruitment campaigns from advertising through to onboarding
* Screen applications, coordinate interviews and conduct reference checks
* Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and timelines
* Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, procedures and legislation
* Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your recruitment expertise within a supportive and professional HR function.
Your Skills & Experience
* Degree or qualification in Human Resources (or related field) with relevant experience
* Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and HR operations
* Knowledge of Australian employment laws, HR compliance, and workplace best practice
* Strong operational HR skills, including employee relations and workplace investigations
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
* Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused with high attention to detail
* Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
