Benefits: Join a supportive team with a great company culture Full-time hours (Day/Afternoon/Night shift available) $35–$46/hr (depending on shift & experience) Temporary-to-permanent opportunity after 6 months Career progression opportunities Potential for overtime work Job Details Day shift Monday to Friday: 6am – 2:30pm Pay: $35 - $40/hr Afternoon Shift Monday to Friday: 2:30pm – 11pm Pay: $40 - $46/hr Night shift Monday to Friday: 9:30pm – 6am Pay: $40 - $46/hr Immediate start for the right person Location: Marsden Park About the Role: You will be responsible for operating machinery such as Turret Punch, Plate Laser, Tube Laser or CNC machines within a busy manufacturing environment. Duties include machine set-up, quality checks, reading technical drawings, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Operate various machines such as Turret punch, Plate laser, CNC Machinery, Tube laser or similar Conduct pre-shift start checks and set up various machinery/equipment Use of MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) to carry out duties when required Actively contribute and participate in product and manufacturing improvements Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures for specific product(s) and MHE to a high-quality standard Work with Team leader and production team to maintain a good standard of general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work environment Maintain high levels of Health & Safety standards Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed by the Production Team Leader/Production Manager Understand, read, and communicate on technical specifications and drawings. Ensuring quality control measures are adhered to and quality checks are completed and logged on the internal QMS Use hand tools and measuring equipment to achieve the correct product tolerances. Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in either Aluminium/Steel/Metal manufacturing environment Experience operating turret punch, CNC machine or laser machines is advantageous Strong practical knowledge of hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings Experience of driving FLTs/Side Loader vehicles is advantageous High attention to detail and commitment to work Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace health and safety practices If you believe you are the right fit for this opportunity, hit apply now!
