We’re looking for an experienced Administration and Governance Support Officer to join a dynamic government project in Enoggera, QLD. The role is full-time, temporary contract offering stability until March 2026, and involves handling administrative and governance duties essential for maintaining operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing complex travel arrangements and movements for a highly mobile team.
* Ensuring financial compliance and post-travel certification.
* Maintaining internal reporting systems like PMKeyS and applying policy compliance.
* Providing advice on administrative processes and stakeholder engagement.
* Supporting audit readiness and governance activities.
* Working collaboratively to resolve issues efficiently and improve administrative workflows.
About You
To be suitable for the role you will have:
* Proven experience in managing administrative tasks and governance processes
* Knowledge of Defence administrative procedures and travel policies (highly desirable)
* Excellent written communication skills to prepare documentation and support clear, effective messaging
* The ability to collaborate effectively within a flexible, team-oriented environment
* Minimum NV1 security clearance required
