About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated and customer-centric Administration Officer to join our team in Bridgewater on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for providing site support through administrative duties, including order processing, purchasing, and operating a weighbridge.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage reception at the quarry office, including meet and greet, site inductions, couriers, and mail handling.
* Raise purchase orders, work orders, compile spreadsheets, and reports.
* Purchase, invoice, and maintain all purchasing records, including invoicing, order tracking, and preparing & processing of dockets.
* Temporary relieve the Weighbridge, including ticketing incoming and outgoing trucks, as needed.
* Provide admin support for Sales Manager and General Manager when necessary.
* Engage with stakeholders and customers to provide efficient and friendly service.
Requirements
* A tech-savvy individual with experience in administration duties and great attention to detail.
* A customer-centric individual with great customer service and stakeholder management skills.
* A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn operation of a Weighbridge, if no prior quarry experience.
* Advanced computer skills along with well-developed organisational skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and high volumes of orders.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team as well as autonomously.
* Openness to working within a quarry site.
