About the role
p>The College is inviting applications for the position of Academic Tutor, Residential College. The purpose of this position is to provide high quality small group tutorials and one-on-one consultations to Trinity's Residential College students undertaking University of Melbourne undergraduate subjects to broaden and deepen their knowledge of these subjects and help students understand subject materials.

Skill & Experience
p>We are currently recruiting in the following areas: engineering (primarily mechanical and civil – second and third-year subjects mainly – but also potentially some chemical and electrical, depending on student subject selection); music (also including music breadth ideally); physics; media (MECM subject code at Unimelb). We are also open to receiving applications from different fields.
Candidates should, ideally, have experience teaching at the University of Melbourne and/or have undertaken undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne.
In addition, you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students and engage them in a learning environment.
Salary Range
p>Casual Academic Tutors are paid hourly in line with Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award at the rate of $69.06 per hour (for a minimum of 2 hours per engagement).
