Great permanent opportunity We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to lead the Value-Add business units factory operations.
In this role, underpinned by Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement practices, you will ensure the Production Plan is followed and obtained, as well as coaching & developing the production teams to ensure all operational and strategic tasks are completed in line with our standards, procedures, and behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading team members to ensure they are completing their roles, following safe systems of work to deliver operational requirements.
* Ensure that the operations produce finished goods which are within customer specification and within planned time.
* Drive Continuous Improvement through daily review systems.
* Adhering to and always promoting our policies and procedures.
* Assist the broader leadership team to establish strategies to develop the culture of performance excellence with respect to safety, quality, and customer service.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have effective decision-making skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely / safe manner.

Requirements
* Cert IV Leadership and Management or equivalent.
* 2 – 5 years' experience in a Supervisory role in Food Manufacturing.
* Qualification and/or experience in a thermal processing environment (desirable).
* Green belt or greater in Lean Six Sigma.
* Good knowledge of HACCP, SQF and GMP.
* Demonstrated knowledge of SHE program.
* Demonstrated leadership in a team environment.
