What you'll be doing
* Preparing high-quality meals, morning teas, and function catering.
* Following standard recipes and ensuring food is well-presented, nutritious, and appealing.
* Supporting special dietary needs, including texture-modified meals.
* Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, and documentation standards.
* Keeping the kitchen, cool rooms, and storage spaces clean, tidy, and audit-ready.
* Stepping up to support or lead the kitchen during busy periods or in the absence of senior staff.
What you bring
* Certificate II in Cookery or higher (or equivalent kitchen experience).
* Experience in commercial or large-volume catering environments.
* A friendly, positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
* Good understanding of dietary needs and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to stay organised and calm in a busy environment.
