The City of Fremantle is seeking a compassionate, capable and community‑minded Casual Customer Service Officer to support the Fremantle Community Legal Centre.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients and visitors; often at moments when they need calm guidance, clear information, and a respectful interaction. You'll provide essential administrative and customer service support to help our team deliver high‑quality legal assistance to the community.
Key responsibilities
* Provide respectful, professional customer service to clients and visitors.
* Respond to phone and front‑desk enquiries with clarity and empathy.
* Support our team through essential admin tasks and data entry.
* Prepare and file routine documents, including electronic records.
* Maintain promotional materials (including online information) and assist with general office duties.
To be considered for this position, you will need
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in customer service and administration.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of legal terms and community legal services.
* Confidence using computers and Microsoft Office.
