As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer you will take end-to-end ownership of major revisions to our products. You'll work across mechanical, electronics, and embedded firmware with a high degree of independence, from concept and prototyping through to production release.
How you'll contribute
* Key Responsibilities
Technical Execution
* Lead design, integration, and validation of electronics, firmware, and mechanical assemblies
* Produce clear, well-tested code and PCB layouts that others can extend
* Consider DFM, DFA, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout development
* Create and run verification test plans, analyse data and confirm requirements
* Drive continuous improvement in standards, tooling, and automation
Project & People
* Translate product requirements into concrete technical specs, tasks, and schedules
* Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEAs, mitigating issues early
* Mentor engineers in best practices and foster knowledge sharing
* Partner with production, supply chain, and quality to streamline NPI and control cost
* Report progress through Jira boards, stand-ups, and concise stakeholder updates
Communication & Documentation
* Communicate project plans, trade-offs, and risks in clear language tailored to each audience
* Build relationships across engineering, product, and operations to accelerate delivery and reduce tech debt
* Champion a blameless culture focused on solving the right problems and committing to team decisions
* Liaise confidently with vendors and customers to resolve technical issues
