1. ICT Infrastructure Support & Maintenance
Develop and maintain support strategies and procedures for IT systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Install, configure, and manage hardware, software, servers, and network devices.
Perform routine system upgrades, patch management, and security updates.
Monitor and optimize system performance, backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Provide technical support to end users, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions.
Maintain ticketing system records, ensuring timely resolution of IT support requests.
3. Network & Security Administration
Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall configurations.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and implement cybersecurity best practices.
Monitor and respond to network threats, vulnerabilities, and security breaches.
Perform regular system audits and risk assessments to enhance IT security posture.
4. Process Improvement & Automation
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in IT support.
Document system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.
Stay updated with emerging ICT technologies and best practices.
5. Collaboration & Vendor Management
Work closely with IT teams, developers, and business units to align ICT support with company goals.
Assist in ICT project implementation, system rollouts, and upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in ICT support, system administration, or network management.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
Proficiency in networking (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VLANs, etc.).
Experience with cloud computing (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and virtualization (VMware, HyperV, Citrix).
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira), and remote support solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications
CCNA, CompTIA Network+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect.
Certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, CEH) or cloud platforms are a plus /
