The Opportunity
As Financial Controller, you will act as the CFO's 2iC, leading financial operations, reporting, planning, and governance. You'll play a critical role in scaling finance systems, driving commercial insights, and building a world-class team. This is an ideal role for a hands-on leader who thrives in high-growth settings and enjoys building structure in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and optimise finance operations, including group reporting, treasury, payables/receivables, and general ledger management.
* Manage the month-end close process across multiple entities, delivering timely and accurate insights.
* Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
* Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness in multi-jurisdiction environments.
* Drive finance systems enhancement and process automation (ERP/BI tools).
* Mentor and grow a high-performing finance team aligned to a strong culture of accountability and adaptability.
* Act as a key finance liaison with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Risk.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA, CA, or ACCA qualification essential.
* 7+ years' experience in a financial controller or related role within a financial services or trading business.
* Background in business services is beneficial.
* Strong track record in multi-entity reporting, business partnering, and managing audits and compliance.
* Experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, Xero, and Power BI.
* A strategic thinker with strong execution capability and high learning agility.
