Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Obstetrician or GP Obstetrician located in Gawler, SA. The role involves managing and providing care for obstetric patients, including both inpatient and outpatient settings at Gawler Health Service. The Obstetrician will conduct routine check-ups, prenatal care, and postnatal care, and perform deliveries and any necessary surgeries. The role also involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications

RANZCOG Fellowship
* in Obstetrics and Gynecology or General Practice with Advanced RANZCOG Diploma and obstetric experience
* Experience in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
* Skills in performing obstetric surgeries and managing emergency situations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
* Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* Full registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Experience in rural healthcare settings is advantageous
