About the Role
We are looking for a 5 to 8 year experienced Appian professional to design, develop, and implement BPM solutions using Appian and optimize Appian modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Appian development, process automation, improving performance, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Design, implement and optimize Appian applications including interface, rules, integrations, Records, Sites, Reports, and Process Models.
* Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
* Implement Appian best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Integrate Appian with external systems using Web APIs, RDBMS, REST/SOAP APIs and third‐party services.
* Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Appian applications.
* Document technical designs and provide support during UAT and production.
* Ensure performance tuning, scalability, and best practices across Appian applications.
* Bottom‐line responsibility of Infosys delivery.
* Conduct various Governance.
* Plan and track implementation of best practices.
* Agile / DevOps adoption.
* Productivity, maturity and quality improvements.
* Value adds delivery.
* Ensuring strategic initiatives at the subdomain level.
* Driving offshoring.
* Outcome based models.
* Drive/participate/coordinate key meetings with stakeholders.
* Escalation point of contact for the LoB delivery.
* LoB level risk and issues management and liaise with Head Of / Program Director.
* Ensure Westpac as well as Infosys health check requirements are met.
* Resource and demand management.
* Estimation – TEP consolidation / OPEX review.
* Contract management.
* Productivity and quality initiatives.
* Continuous improvement and innovation drive.
Skill / Competencies / Experience
ESSENTIAL
* 5–8 years of experience in Appian development.
* Strong knowledge of Appian components: SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Sites.
* Experience with Appian Plug‐ins, Appian RPA, and Appian Connected Systems.
* Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
* Excellent problem‐solving and communication skills.
PREFERRED
* Appian Level 2 Certification or higher.
ADDITIONAL
* Experience with Appian Cloud Administration and Appian RPA.
* Customer‐facing skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem‐solving skills.
