Job Description
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will work under the supervision of the Maintenance Team Leader to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of mechanical equipment and systems. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including experience with computerized maintenance systems such as Maxim, Pronto, or SAP. They should also be proficient in reading technical drawings and have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
About You
* At least 2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant or similar heavy industry continuous production environment.
* Ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
* Familiarity with manual machining and ability to perform tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including execution of planned and preventative maintenance on fixed plant.
* Install various types of mechanical components, ensuring high-quality installations that meet safety standards.
* Provide support to project teams for scope of maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
* Conduct Root Cause Analysis for mechanical problems and failures.
