We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as Business Support Officer within our Maritime Australia line of business based at our Osborne shipyard in Adelaide. This position reports into our Head of Engineering - Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP). This role offers flexibility, 9 day fortnight, great culture and opportunity

**Your new role**:
The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing administration support and onboarding new employees to the Engineering Function in HCFP. In more specific terms you will:
- Provide administrative assistance in support of the daily, weekly and monthly tasks and working collaboratively with all levels of the Production & Ship Management teams
- Undertake diary and inbox management for Senior Production and Ship Management team members
- Organise travel for Operations team members in line with Company policy
- Complete monthly expense reconciliation in line with Company policy
- Assist the Production and Ship Management teams with administrative tasks related to their departmental functional responsibilities
- Supporting new employees with a complete recruitment and boarding experience from interview to commencement utilising BAE tools and processes
- Coordinating and facilitating group interview including room bookings and set up/providing nametags/tea, coffee, escorting around site
- Ensure all mandated training has been booked including enrolments, rooms and materials
- Booking of staff travel including assisting with per diems and credit card acquittals
- Attendance at meetings and minute taking
- Adhoc admin support as required
- Update/produce Organisation charts, PowerPoint presentations and reports using BAE templates
- Maintain confidentiality
- Assist with special administration projects as required
- Raising staff requisition requests

- Previous experience in a similar role
