Limestone Coast Local Health Network, Mental Health Inpatient Unit, Mount Gambier Salary: $103,353 - $110,497 p.a (pro rata) - RN/RM2A Ongoing Full Time over a 7 day roster Ready to take the next step in your mental health nursing career?
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to step into a leadership role that makes a real difference.
Join the Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Limestone Coast LHN as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) and help lead a passionate team delivering evidence-based, recovery-oriented care.
As a clinical leader, you'll support the Nurse Unit Manager in managing daily operations, mentoring staff, and coordinating services that prioritise continuity of care and consumer wellbeing.
Your strong clinical background in mental health, combined with a proactive approach to team development, will ensure quality outcomes for consumers and a supportive, culturally safe environment for staff and community members alike.
Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical leadership across the unit, supporting best-practice care Collaborate with the NUM and other ANUMs to ensure consistent, person-centred service delivery Contribute to rostering, staffing, recruitment, and performance management Lead a portfolio aligned with service improvement, innovation, and quality outcomes Foster professional development in junior staff and maintain clinical excellence What We're Looking For: Registered Nurse with a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Minimum 3 years post-registration experience or current Clinical Nurse classification Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills Cultural competency and commitment to inclusive practice, particularly with Aboriginal communities Proven experience in managing team performance, workloads, and service delivery Why Join Us?
