You know that feeling when the edit lands perfectly? When a pitch deck makes the room lean forward? When a shoot wraps and everyone knows something special just happened? We're looking for the person who lives for that feeling.
The Role
Havas Village Australia is hiring a Senior Producer / Executive Producer to lead our production capability from Melbourne, with national reach across the Village network. Equal parts maker, storyteller, new business weapon, and calm centre of gravity when everything is moving fast.
We're looking for a Senior Producer or EP who is as comfortable rolling up their sleeves on a fast-turnaround content shoot as they are steering a high-budget TVC through post. This is a hands‐on leadership role sitting within our in‐house production company, responsible for driving the quality, efficiency, and culture of everything we produce.
You'll be the operational backbone of the production team, owning workflows and processes while staying close to the work itself. You don't hand things off and walk away. You know when to lead, when to support, and when to be hands‐on to get the job done yourself.
What You'll Do
Some weeks you're building proposals that win rooms. Others you're on set, across budgets, timelines, crews and the thousand small decisions that separate good production from great. You'll need to love new business – not tolerate it, love it. The energy, the theatre, the satisfaction of turning creative into a plan that makes a client say yes.
* Managing production workflows and resourcing across the team, building and refining processes that keep projects moving without sacrificing quality
* Owning production budgets from initial scope through to final reconciliation, building the P&L discipline and financial visibility the department needs to scale
* Acting as the senior point of contact for creative, account, and client stakeholders
* Working closely with directors, editors, and production crew to maintain excellence and troubleshoot problems before they elevate, on‐set and from behind the scenes
* Setting the standard for how the team operates, from briefing and scheduling through to wrap and delivery
* Stepping into an EP capacity on larger projects, while remaining hands‐on as a creative producer when the job calls for it
* Managing supplier relationships and contributing actively to new business
And you'll need to be steady. Production is chaos managed beautifully. When timelines compress and three things need you at once, you're the person the team looks to. Not because you have all the answers, but because you don't panic, you prioritize, and you move.
What Makes This Different
We're deliberately different. Havas Village brings creative, media, production and technology under one roof, with the agility of an independent and a global network across 100+ markets.
This is also a moment. AI is reshaping production workflows and rewriting the economics of content at scale. We're not looking for an AI expert. We're looking for someone whose curiosity won't let them sit still. Already experimenting, pulling apart new tools, figuring out what's real and what's hype. Because when traditional craft meets AI, storytellers do more with less and push creative further than the budget would normally allow.
You
Your attention to detail is the thing people comment on. You care about the kerning on a pitch deck, the layout and assumptions in a budget, and how every word in a client email reads before you hit send, because excellence is a thousand small things done right.
You're a leader who creates clarity when things are ambiguous. You protect creative standards while respecting commercial reality. You're flexible enough to shift between a scrappy social shoot and a polished TVC without losing quality on either.
And above all, you're the perfect conductor. You love the craft, the problem‐solving, the alchemy of turning an idea into something people actually see and feel.
