We are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Gold Coast, based in Carrara. Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Australia are the primary vehicle distribution centre's for Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, UD Trucks and Volvo Buses. At VCV we encompass sales, service and parts for Volvo Group vehicles.
Your future team
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of 23 workshop staff are made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Apprentices, Service Advisers and a Costing Clerk. VCV Gold Coast dealership prides itself on an inclusive and stable work environment, producing quality work. We are currently hiring for our afternoon shift which runs from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

What you will do
Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics have the opportunity to work on Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack and UD Trucks, some of Australia's most innovative transport brands. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses, in line with Volvo Group's standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Steering and suspension repairs
Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
Preventative maintenance services and repairs
Off-site and breakdown repairs
