About this Role
Are you looking to grow your career in a supportive and dynamic environment? At Home Care is excited to invite a passionate and dedicated Senior Payroll Officer to join our amazing team on a permanent full-time basis.
Located in our Osborne Park office, you will work closely with our Payroll Specialist, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of our weekly payroll. You'll also play a key role in providing friendly and helpful responses to staff queries, contributing to our positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Duties
Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates/changes and employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations.
Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations.
Ensures the timely processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll, including liabilities such as workers compensation, PAYG and superannuation payment.
Responsible for overseeing the calculating and processing of pay increases, back pays and termination payments.
Performs end of year processes
Skills and Experience
Experience in payroll administration and the use of payroll software/systems
Ability to process records quickly and accurately, with an awareness of the policy and legal implications.
Initiative and a willingness to learn
Experience with Aurion Payroll would be advantageous but not essential
Experience with SCHADS or Nursing Award would be highly desirable
