As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our small, dedicated team. You will work closely with the general manager, and the executive director to drive our sales and marketing efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to our growth and be involved in various aspects of the business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales and Marketing Support**:
- Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and generating new sales leads through market research, networking, and prospecting.
- Marketing Materials: Create and maintain marketing collateral, presentations, and product information to support our team in client meetings and pitches.
- CRM Management: Update and manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups.
**Marketing Initiatives**:
- Content Creation: Develop content for various marketing channels, including website updates, blog posts, social media, and promotional materials.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning to inform marketing strategies.
**Client Engagement**:
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and support, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Client Follow-Up: Follow up with clients post-project to gather feedback, address concerns, and explore additional opportunities for business.
**Event Management**:
- Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and managing company events, trade shows, and promotional activities to showcase our products and services.
- Event Promotion: Develop marketing materials and strategies to promote events and drive attendance.
**Administrative Support**:
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, marketing activities, and client feedback to provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to sales and marketing activities, including scheduling meetings, managing documentation, and coordinating with external vendors.
**Collaboration**:
- Team Coordination: Work closely with the general manager, and executive director to ensure that sales and marketing efforts align with company goals. Provide support in project management, participate in brainstorming sessions, and assist with strategic planning.
**Product Knowledge**:
- Client Education: Educate clients on product features, benefits, and maintenance requirements to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
**Brand Representation**:
Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the company professionally, ensuring consistent brand messaging and a positive company image in all interactions.
**Qualifications**:
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment.
- knowledge in the building industry, plants, or interior design industry is a plus.
