Permanent Storeperson – Day Shift (7am–3pm, Monday to Friday)

Fuse Recruitment is partnering with a busy food manufacturing warehouse in Silverwater who are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join the team on a permanent full‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands‑on position in a small warehouse environment and wants stable weekday hours with a long‑term opportunity.
The Client: A food manufacturer and supplier that supply to food‑service, retail and wholesale customers across Australia and are located in Silverwater.

* $65k – $75k + Super (dependent on experience)
* Monday to Friday
* 7am – 3pm shift
The Role: Store Person Working 7am–3pm, this role supports both production and warehouse operations. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and your key duties will include:
Forklift & Warehouse Operations
* Counterbalance electric forklift operation (No high reach)
* Working up to 4 racks high
* Loading/unloading trucks:
* Approx. 4 semis per week (no mezzanine loading)
* Daily rigid trucks to be loaded and unloaded
* Trucks are onsite between 8am–3pm
* Moving stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
* Receiving and despatching stock
* Shrink wrapping pallets (all pallets double strapped for nationwide transport)
* Labelling stock and picking orders (paper‑based picking – no RF scanning )
* Maintaining and monitoring stock levels
* Recording information for HACCP compliance
Production Support (from 7am daily)
* Picking packaging materials and delivering to production lines
* Raising palletised raw materials to a second‑floor mezzanine
* Removing rubbish bins via forklift
* Providing stock to production and transferring finished goods to despatch
Administration & System Duties
* Computer data entry
* Working with Ostendo WMS to enter invoices, release orders, manage CHEP pallets
* Liaising with transport partners (all freight handled by 3rd‑party carriers)
The Candidate: To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:
* Current forklift licence with counter balance experience
* Experience loading and unloading trucksConfident operating electric forklifts at height
* Experience transporting pallets to production lines
* Experience transporting goods from production lines to despatch and staging areas
* Previous warehouse experience, ideally in food or FMCG
* Comfortable working in a strong garlic‑scented environment
* Experience working within FMCG or fast‑paced manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and hygiene protocols.
* Ability to move pallets efficiently in a high‑volume factory
* Strong safety mindset
* Able to manage both physical and administrative tasks
* Reliable, organised and safety‑focused
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a small team
* Computer data entry and Warehouse Management System operating experience
