Associate Professor Opportunity
Flinders University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to fill the role of Associate Professor in Rural and Remote Health. The successful candidate will provide leadership and expertise in teaching, research, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach and coordinate courses in Rural and Remote Health, Medicine, Paramedicine, and other related programs.
* Conduct high-quality research, publish in reputable journals, and supervise research students.
* Lead collaborative projects with external stakeholders, including Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
* Develop and maintain productive research partnerships with national and international stakeholders.
Requirements:
* PhD or equivalent qualification.
* Registered with, or eligible for registration with, a relevant health professional board regulated by AHPRA.
* Commitment to promoting an inclusive environment that values Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their knowledges, cultures, and ethical research practices.
* Proven record of excellence and leadership in teaching within Rural and Remote Health, along with expertise in one or more of Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health, or Public Health.
