Job Overview
The Queensland Fire Department provides fire prevention, preparedness and response services to fire in the built and landscape environments as well as scientific and specialist capabilities to Queensland communities.
Purpose of the Role
Regional operations comprises four QFR Regions focused on the management and delivery of capability for the service in the region. Delivery is across four broad themes those being service delivery community safety professional development and business management and working in partnership with other state government departments local governments and communities to improve resilience and enhance operational capacity during times of emergency.
You will be responsible for providing high level confidential administration services and business support to meet the functions of regional operations development or emergency operations capability. You will set priorities and monitor workflows to manage the functions of human resource and finance administration records and database management medal and award nominations official functions and / or diary management and secretariat duties as required and monitor for compliance with policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
