About the Role
This is not your traditional aged care role.
As our Lifestyle, Events & Marketing Manager, you’ll blend creativity, coordination and community spirit to:
* Deliver fun, meaningful lifestyle activities for residents and participants
* Host exciting precinct-wide events (open days, community markets, wellness sessions, you name it!)
* Create engaging marketing content that brings new visitors into our vibrant MicroTown® precinct
* Build relationships with local groups, NDIS providers, and community partners
* Showcase the heart and soul of our community through storytelling and digital content
* Jump hands-on into activities whenever needed — from art groups to café pop-ups to walking clubs
This role is internal + external facing. You’ll work with residents, participants, families, community groups, and the general public. Every day looks different — and that’s the fun of it!
What You’ll Be Doing
Lifestyle & Wellness
* Create monthly calendars full of activities people genuinely love
* Support residents one-on-one and in groups
* Lead and mentor our wonderful Lifestyle Team
* Make sure experiences run smoothly, safely, and joyfully
Events & Community Engagement
* Plan and deliver precinct events that make the MicroTown® buzz
* Build partnerships with community organisations, schools, and local providers
* Turn our beautiful precinct into a hub of connection and activity
Marketing & Promotion
* Create social media content, newsletters, and digital stories
* Promote the Wellness Centre, café, corner store, hairdresser and events
* Help grow our unique model through clever, authentic marketing
Operational Leadership
* Support rostering, scheduling and daily coordination
* Step into the houses when needed to support residents
* Maintain compliance, safety, and high-quality documentation
Who You Are
You’re energetic. Creative. A community-builder. And you genuinely want to make life richer and more joyful for older people and people living with cognitive or functional support needs.
You also bring:
? Experience in lifestyle, events or community engagement
? Marketing or digital communications experience
? Confidence coordinating activities and leading small teams
? Warm communication and relationship-building skills
? Ability to adapt, problem-solve and stay calm when things get busy
? A genuine passion for people
Bonus points if you’ve worked in aged care, NDIS, disability support, community development, hospitality or wellness — but heart and people-skills matter most.
Requirements
* Experience in lifestyle programs or events
* Marketing, communications or relevant qualification
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
* Influenza & COVID vaccinations
* Right to work in Australia
