Due to our commitment to safety and on-going improvement of our network, we have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Senior Security Program Team Leader to join the Security Infrastructure and Compliance Unit (SICU). In this busy, hands on, role you will work closely with the Protective Security & Compliance Manager and play a critical role in coordinating the implementation of security plans and treatments identified through the Security Risk Management Program of works. You will also manage the Security Program team, and as such we require an individual with demonstrated leadership skills to coach and mentor specialist security personnel. Overview of main responsibilities: Developing and coordinating the Security Program of works that allow the business to mitigate identified security risks. Working in conjunction with the Security Intelligence team (SI) to implement protective security requirements for Queensland Rail's assets/infrastructure. Assisting managers in the implementation of security plans and risk treatments for risk identified through the Security Risk Management Program of works. Coordination of asset based protective security projects in conjunction with asset/site security operations managers. Assisting in the development of site/asset security specification; and Development of funding submissions in partnership with Asset owners and project managers What you will bring to the role: Exceptional communication and research skills. Previous experience in a similar team leader role in security Proactive and solutions focused approach. Project management experience is highly desirable.
