Your typical day as a Project Coordinator at Optus 
In the role of Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the successful completion of our projects. Your responsibilities will include delivering excellent project administrative assistance to our Project Manager, aiding in the coordination and oversight of tasks like planning, tracking, reporting, quality management, and communication. You will generate detailed reports encompassing summaries of breakthroughs, key challenges, risks, and project expenditures. 
Your skills to pay the bills 
Proven ability to assist in project planning by collaborating with project managers to develop comprehensive action plans, including prioritisation, timelines, and budgets. 
Outstanding coordination skills to lead all aspects of project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget, which includes scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and managing documentation. 
Strong communication skills to act as a bridge between project teams, collaborators, and clients, sharing project status updates and resolving any issues that come up. 
Meticulous documentation skills to maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and reports, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. 
Competence in risk management to identify potential project risks and assist in developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution. 
Administrative support expertise to provide administrative assistance to project teams, including scheduling, filing, and correspondence, to facilitate efficient project operations.
