About the role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the organisation across multiple departments, partnering closely with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Sales. This role plays a critical part in delivering analytics, financial insights, and performance reporting to support informed decision‐making by the Senior Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will evaluate and test financial strategies for operational feasibility and profitability, while driving improvements through data, systems, and process automation. You will also support procurement initiatives, monitor production performance, and develop dashboards and reporting tools using SAP, Power BI, and VBA to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
This is a hands‐on, highly collaborative role suited to a technically capable and commercially minded professional who is confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
Procurement & Category Support
* Partner with Category Managers and Procurement Specialists to support category strategies and sourcing initiatives
* Deliver spend analysis, supplier performance insights, and cost breakdowns to identify savings opportunities
* Support tenders (RFP/RFQ) through pricing analysis and supplier evaluation
* Track and report cost‐savings initiatives in alignment with Finance
* Analyse market trends and input costs to support procurement decisions
Data, Systems & Automation
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, SAP, VBA)
* Improve reporting accuracy and efficiency through process automation
* Maintain SAP master data integrity
Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement
* Monitor production performance and identify improvement opportunities
* Coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities
Commercial & Cross‐Functional Support
* Support pricing and profitability analysis
* Partner with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain on commercial initiatives
* Deliver financial modelling, forecasting, and performance insights
Project & Reporting Support
* Support month‐end reporting and initiative tracking
* Assist with project coordination and stakeholder engagement
* Other duties as required
What will make you successful
Experience & Skills
You will bring a strong analytical mindset combined with commercial and operational awareness, enabling you to translate data into actionable business insights.
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
* Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain environments (preferred)
* Exposure to procurement, sourcing, or category management support is highly regarded
* Demonstrated capability in data analysis, financial modelling, and performance reporting
* Experience supporting tenders, cost analysis, and supplier evaluation is desirable
* Strong systems capability, with experience using SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel (VBA desirable)
